Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this mini-retreat was designed to support balance across mind, body, and spirit — meeting each participant where they were.
Guided by James Pan and Nanjing Deng, two seasoned practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine and sound therapy, the experience invited participants into both learning and receiving. Ancient practices were shared in an accessible, contemporary way, offering tools that could be carried into everyday life.
Across the afternoon, participants moved through a carefully curated flow of practice, education, and rest — allowing space for insight, release, and deep nourishment.

Throughout this five-hour mini-retreat, participants were guided through:
Gentle Daoist exercises to awaken circulation and energy flow
A short tea ceremony to settle the nervous system and open the space
An introduction to core principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including the five elements, organ systems, and internal rhythms
A live acupuncture demonstration led by James Pan
Individual acupuncture sessions for each participant, held alongside an hour-long immersive sound bath facilitated by Nanjing Deng
A nourishing TCM-inspired dinner, exploring the relationship between food, organs, and seasonal balance
The afternoon unfolded as both a collective and deeply personal experience — offering moments of stillness, learning, and restoration within a carefully held container.
Participants left feeling grounded, supported, and equipped with practical insights for cultivating balance in their daily lives.
