Bloom Retreat

  • Alcobaça Alcobaça, Leiria District, 2460 Portugal (map)

A sacred retreat to reclaim your first bleed, restore trust in the body, and remember your cyclical power — through embodied ritual, menstrual re-education, and deep rest.

Held one hour north of Lisbon, in the wild and fertile landscape of central Portugal, BLOOM is an intimate four-day immersion devoted to menstrual wisdom, feminine embodiment, and remembrance.

This retreat brings together the science of the menstrual cycle and the energetics of feminine ritual — a space where education meets embodiment, and where the body is honored as an intelligent, cyclical guide rather than something to manage or override.

Through somatic movement, breathwork, ritual, storytelling, and rest, BLOOM invites you back into relationship with your cycle — not as a problem to fix, but as a source of clarity, creativity, and inner authority.

This is a space for those seeking to reconnect with their body, reproductive health, fertility, intimacy, and creative power — held gently, safely, and in deep sisterhood.

  • Across four days together, you’ll move through a carefully curated arc of grounding, learning, embodiment, and integration — guided by the rhythms of the menstrual cycle and the season of high summer.

Each day weaves together education, ritual, and spacious rest, allowing insights to land not only in the mind, but in the body itself.

    Throughout the retreat, you’ll experience:

    • Somatic and nervous system regulation practices to support safety and embodiment

    • Menstrual Cycle Awareness (MCA) teachings grounded in both science and ancestral wisdom

    • Ritual spaces honoring menarche, blood consciousness, and cyclical transitions

    • Creative exploration through movement, art, poetry, and myth

    • Full Moon and blood rituals held with care, reverence, and Rose Medicine

    • Spacious time for rest, reflection, and connection with nature

    • Nourishing meals shared in community

    • Optional 1:1 sessions for deeper personal support

The retreat unfolds gradually — offering moments of tenderness, insight, emotional release, and celebration. You’ll be invited to meet your cycle as a living language, one that speaks through sensation, emotion, and intuition.

BLOOM is designed to support processes of embodiment, reproductive health, fertility awareness, rites of passage, self-healing, and intimacy — without pressure, performance, or expectation.

  • Day 1 — Arrival & Opening the Circle
    Ground. Soften. Remember.
We arrive slowly, opening the space through ceremony, shared meals, and a guided menarche visualization — reconnecting with the girl who first bled, who still lives within.

Day 2 — Foundations of Cycle Awareness
    Know your cycle. Know yourself.
Through storytelling, somatic practice, and science-backed frameworks, shame is gently unlearned and replaced with clarity. The cycle becomes a map for living, creating, and resting.

    Day 3 — Embodiment & Creative Power
    Reclaim your creative essence.
Movement, ritual, art, and Full Moon practices invite you into the fertile meeting place of science and soul — where cyclical intelligence becomes embodied knowing.

    Day 4 — Integration & Celebration
Be seen. Be celebrated. Begin again.
We close in reverence and joy, honoring your process through ritual and initiation — carrying what’s been remembered into the life awaiting you beyond the retreat.

  • BLOOM is not simply an experience — it’s a reset and a reclamation.
