Set in the quiet, mist-laced mountains of Niigata, this immersive camp invites you to reveal your true self amidst the support of healing hot springs, lush landscapes, and serene beauty. The land will act as a guide along with our facilitators, providing nourishment through wholesome meals and restorative onsen. At the Hidden Gift Camp, you will learn the basics of sensing and transferring energy for healing, how to identify, grow, and harvest herbs in ways that align with the earth, and deepen your intuition to read the world around you in new ways. This exploratory space encourages a child-like sense of curiosity so your imagination can become your reality. There will be relational practices, honoring of ancestral energies, facilitated conversations, nature walks, and supervised hands-on practice of your spiritual tools. You will walk away with an understanding of the family magic inherited through your DNA, a renewed sense of self, the unique gift you bring to this world, and how to use it with integrity.

Dashaun Simmons, the Priest of Play, sees life as one big playground—every experience a new game to explore. As the co-founder of Men At Work Healing and the Afro Play Collective, he is devoted to reconnecting the world with its innate ability to play. Whether as an initiated priest, a level 2 Reiki practitioner, or a diviner, he approaches all aspects of healing with the same joyful lens. Dashaun sings, dances, channels spirits, and plays old-school video games—all as acts of play, all as acts of spirit. His purpose? To embody play as a life and spiritual practice, helping others heal, grow, and fully embrace the game of life. After all, it’s the only game in town.
Daoud Abeid
Energy Healer & Spiritual Counselor
Daoud Abeid is a Reiki Master and Spiritual Healing Practitioner whose work is rooted in a lifelong relationship with spiritual practice, martial arts, and ancestral wisdom. Born into a family of spiritualists, Daoud was guided from childhood toward the path of a healer, shaping a journey committed to spiritual liberation, empowerment, and the restoration of inner balance. Introduced to Reiki in 1991 and formally attuned in 2005, he now holds the level of Reiki IV Master/Teacher, offering sessions that support emotional, energetic, physical, and spiritual healing through the flow of universal life force.His work integrates Reiki with teachings received from Indigenous South and North American medicine people, as well as principles shaped by his training in Kuntaw, a Filipino martial art in which he holds a black belt. Daoud believes many forms of suffering arise from spiritual disconnection—from self, lineage, and the unseen—and his mission is to help others release the beliefs, energies, and patterns that create disharmony in the body and life.
Through hands-on or distance energy work, Daoud guides clients into deeper coherence, clarity, and ancestral connection, inspiring them to embrace choices that support wellbeing, resilience, and spiritual alignment.
