This fall, journey to the true source of Traditional Chinese Medicine. From the vibrant energy of Shenzhen to the quiet peaks of the Wudang Mountains — one of the most sacred Daoist sites, where the currents of Yin and Yang are said to meet — this unique 10-day immersion invites you into the living heart of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoist practice.
Led by Nanjing Deng, you will be introduced to and study with two deeply respected masters. First, with Master Xu Ruqi, a globally recognized TCM physician known for his highly effective treatments (particularly for chronic illness) and his intuitive, highly precise pulse diagnosis. Here, you will witness the powerful meeting point of clinical mastery and the spiritual backbone of TCM. In Wudang, Daoist Master Yin Chen Zi (Teacher Liao) will introduce you to lineage-based Daoist cultivation practices that support vitality, longevity, and deep internal harmony.

In the fall of 2026, we gather in China for a full-spectrum immersion into Traditional Chinese Medicine — a 4,000-year-old medical system rooted in disciplined study, embodied practice, and living lineage.
This is not a wellness retreat in the conventional sense. It is an intensive teacher training designed for those genuinely ready to learn, commit, and deepen — both professionally and personally.
Across ten days, participants will study classical TCM theory and practice, witness live patient treatments, receive direct diagnosis and herbal prescriptions, and engage the medicine at its source. The journey begins in the dynamic clinical environment of Shenzhen and culminates in the mist-covered Wudang Mountains, where Daoist cultivation practices support integration, vitality, and internal harmony.
This work is deeply supportive and also requires deidcation — intended for practitioners and seekers who feel called to meet the medicine with sincerity, respect, and openness to transformation.

This immersion is designed for:
TCM practitioners and students
Doctors and holistic health practitioners
Bodyworkers, healers, and acupuncturists
Dedicated learners seeking cultural, clinical, and spiritual depth
While there is space for rest and integration, this container prioritizes learning, observation, and embodied understanding over personal healing alone.

PART I — LEARN FROM A TRUE MASTER
Shenzhen | October 10–15
The first five days unfold in Shenzhen, where we train directly with Master Xu Ruqi, one of China’s most respected contemporary TCM masters.
Training takes place in his newly opened hospital and school, where theory and practice are held side by side.
During this phase, you will:
Study classical TCM theory through medical, cultural, and spiritual lenses
Observe live patient treatments and clinical decision-making
Learn pulse and tongue diagnosis, herbal formulation, and prevention-based medicine
Explore Taoist cosmology, Yin–Yang theory, Five Phases, and Zang-Fu systems
Examine the contrast between Western medicine and TCM approaches
On the first day, each participant will receive an individual diagnosis from Master Xu, followed by a custom herbal prescription to be taken throughout the ten-day immersion.
All teachings are translated into English, both verbally and in written materials.
PART II — INTEGRATE IN THE WUDANG MOUNTAINSWudang Mountains | October 15–20
On October 15, we travel together to the Wudang Mountains — one of the most revered Daoist sacred sites in China, where the currents of Yin and Yang are traditionally said to converge.
You will settle into the lovingly restored private residency of Daoist Master Yin Chen Zi (Teacher Liao) and his wife, both devoted carriers of a living Daoist lineage. Surrounded by ancient palaces and temples shaped by nearly a thousand years of Chinese art and architecture, this phase of the journey shifts from clinical intensity to embodied integration.
During these five days, you will:
Live in rhythm with rural mountain life
Integrate the teachings through rest, reflection, and embodiment
Participate in Daoist cultivation practices, Qi Gong, meditation, sound healing, and tea ceremony
Experience organic, locally prepared meals aligned with seasonal principles
Join optional cultural excursions to nearby temples and heritage sites
This phase is designed to help the medicine settle — not only intellectually, but within the body and nervous system — supporting deeper vitality, internal harmony, and lived understanding.
